      Join us on this webinar presented by Kate Perkins, discussing the inclusion of therapeutic laser (MLS® Laser therapy) in the treatment of post-operative cancer patients and lymphoedema.

      In this webinar you’ll learn about the use of MLS Laser in minimising and managing lymphoedema secondary to cancer related treatment – including breast cancer related lymphoedema, head and neck cancer related lymphoedema, and any cancer treatment involving lymph node dissection. Kate will also touch on non-cancer related secondary lymphoedema treatment approaches, with MLS Laser as a component of the treatment process.

      Kate has presented globally as a key opinion leader and is frequently invited to share her expert insights, most recently at the PBM 2024 Conference in London and the Illuminate and Alleviate: MLS Laser in Action Conference in Melbourne, Australia. Her presentations focus on minimising the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy, and lymphoedema, underscoring her commitment to advancing supportive cancer care.

      With over a decade of experience, Kate has built her reputation as a leading practitioner through her hands-on approach and dedication to integrated care, working closely with local health referrers and leveraging the latest technologies.

      Kate is a highly accomplished cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema specialist Occupational Therapist (OT). She is the founder of:

      • Co-founder of OncoLaser™, alongside Dr. Catherine Norton, pioneering cancer rehabilitation using photobiomodulation therapy with in-clinic practice.

      Kate’s dedication to her practice is evident in her ongoing professional development. She is a qualified head and neck lymphoedema therapist, treating the adverse side-effects of neck dissection surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy using OncoLaser™ treatment with MLS Laser, as well as hands-on techniques.

      Kate is a trailblazer in early monitoring for cancer-related lymphoedema, being an early adopter of the SOZO bioimpedance spectroscopy technology by Impedimed. This allows her to closely monitor the early signs and symptoms of cancer-related lymphoedema and other cancer treatments involving lymph node dissection.
